Remember the Magic with a Disney Autograph Book

Are you planning a trip to a Disney theme park? If so, you should definitely have a Disney autograph book handy so that your little ones can get autographs from their favorite characters. These adorable autograph books come in different varieties for every child's preference, but they all contain room for pictures to be inserted and also for autographs. The pictures you've taken of the characters can be placed above their signature for a keepsake of your special trip.

Many characters will gladly sign your child's autograph book. Others cannot because their costumes do not allow them the use of their hands. Be courteous of not only the characters but of the other children in line waiting for autographs. Some children have waited years to meet their favorite characters and don't need some inconsiderate person ruining their magic moment with obnoxious behavior. Because meet and greets with characters can get hectic, make sure your child's name and address is printed in their autograph book. If it gets lost, someone may find it and mail it to your home.

When seeking Disney character autographs, choose the right pen. You want something that writes well and doesn't leak. A permanent marker is a bad idea because if it leaks, it can stain the character's costume. Go for a marker or pen that writes easily and has washable ink. If your child wants to exchange autographs with the character or present them with a handmade card, let them do so. Often, many characters really like receiving these little tokens from their young fans. Being a popular Disney character isn't always an easy job -- which is why a little appreciation and respect can go a long way!

Teach your children the appropriate way to interact with the characters when getting their Disney autograph book signed. Do not pull or grab the character or their costume. Often, characters cannot stop for every request because they are on a schedule and have somewhere to be. If you are looking for a particular character and cannot find them, ask a staff member to help you. They can often find out where certain characters are at what times. With a little patience, an autograph book and a good pen, your child can return home from Disney World with lots of collectible character autographs!
